What is there do to in Long Beach on Thanksgiving?
Plenty, apparently. If you decide that cooking a huge meal and cleaning up the mess is just too much to deal with, I’ve found some great restaurant options for Thanksgiving Dinner. If you’re going to go this route — make your reservations as soon as possible. Seats will probably sell out quickly.
If you haven’t eaten dinner at The Sky Room, it has, arguably, the best panoramic views of Long Beach from the dining room, and the elegant setting is sure to impress.

Fuego is at Hotel Maya, on the water near the Queen Mary. The patio has a spectacular view looking back at the Long Beach skyline.

“Fuego at the Hotel Maya has a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a traditional evening dinner from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The buffet will be accompanied by live Latin Jazz and features traditional Thanksgiving dishes as well as a seafood station, omelet station, carving station and more. The buffet is $59.95 per person, $29.95 for ages 12 and younger. The evening dinner has four entree choices (turkey, Prime Rib, Rack of Lamb, Salmon Filet) and buffet stations with soups, salads and desserts. Evening prices are $50 for adults, and $25 for ages 12 and younger.”

Michaels on Naples is a gorgeous restaurant with very elegant food. The Thanksgiving menu at Michaels on Naples is a gourmet take on the traditional Thanksgiving meal. The price is $50 plus tax and gratuity.
If eating a huge Thanksgiving meal has you worried about your waistline, or if you’re one of those people that like to run, or if you’re looking for something to do while the turkey is cookng: Belmont Shore is home to the yearly Turkey Trot – a 5k and 10k run on Thanksgiving morning. Pre-sale registration is $38 or $40 at the door. The Turkey Trot is for a good cause, to benefit the charity organization CAT.
