Things to do this weekend in Long Beach, CA July 15 – 17 2016

The Long Beach Sea Festival is back,  showcasing the upcoming events in the area from June to September. This year is already proving to be another amazing season filled with events the whole family can enjoy.

Tomorrow night (July 12th), at Granada Beach – Moonlight Movies on the Beach is featuring Jaws! What a perfect movie for a summer night on the sand.

This coming weekend (July 15th and 16th) the Catalina Ski Race is happening. This water ski race features competitors from all over the world, racing from Long Beach to Catalina and Back – 62 total miles! This is an exciting event to watch from the beach, as multitudes of boats rev their engines and take off towards Catalina. The race begins and ends near the Queen Mary. Also happening this weekend (July 16th and 17th) is the Love Long Beach Celebration. This is a FREE 2 day event, featuring all the things we love about Long Beach. There will be DJ’s, vendors, food trucks, stand up paddleboard races, yoga, and more.
